Do you have memories of, or stories from, your youth about this notorious district? At one time, this spot was the only place to get a legal drink in South Minneapolis because of the policy of Municipal patrol limits. Historically, The Hub was a concentrated entertainment area where paychecks were cashed and liquor flowed, the music played and fun and misbehaving flourished. Meet at the old hub of the hub at the Eagles #34
parking lot at 25th Avenue and 25th Street. We’ll walk over to the lone survivor of the hub’s heyday, the Hexagon Bar, and share some tales there.
