The Seward History Committee has lined up a new season of summer evening walks. Join us on July 13 for a “Tour of East African Businesses”. Ever wondered how to make chai? And is it any different from Somali tea? Join SNG as we tour the East African Businesses; Capitol Cafe, Shabelle Grocery, Seward Halaal Market and Seward Wireless. Meet the owners and learn about the specialties of each establishment. Taste Somali tea and try other samples. Note that this is a Thursday walk and that we’ll meet at 6 p.m. at 28th and Franklin Avenues in the Seward Co-op parking lot. Free and open to the public.
