The History Committee will be selling “A People’s History of the Seward Neighborhood” at Birchwood Cafe, 3311 East 25th St., Saturday December 15, 9 to 11 a.m.
If you are wondering where to get a copy, you can score a new volume and scarf

store, plus other Seward mom and pop businesses from days gone by. Breakfast not reason enough to come by? Be advised that we were down to our last few boxes of books Monday. We’ll have more books Saturday but they are selling like—well, if not hotcakes — then waffles.
