CTEP Open Door Learning Center Job Opportunity

Open Door Learning Center – Northside, a program of the Minnesota Literacy Council, is an Adult Basic Education Learning Center offering ESL, GED, math, computer, and citizenship classes based at the Sumner Library in North Minneapolis.

They are hiring for an AmeriCorps Community Technology Empowerment Project (CTEP) member. CTEP members work to bridge the “digital divide” for new immigrants and low-income communities in the Minneapolis and St. Paul area. They are looking for a CTEP to lead basic computer skills classes for adult students, and to provide one-on-one assistance to library patrons with computer skills, job searches and applications, and resume building.
