To Fans of Seward History,
The History Committee of the Seward Neighborhood Group is pleased to announce that the book “A People’s History of the Seward Neighborhood” was nominated as one of the three best books in the 2019 Regional History category by the Midwest Independent Publishers. We were not the winner but we still got an award. A silver medal, not gold as it appears here, will be placed on all books sold from now on. We also got good comments from the judges. My favorite: “…Entire production brings the reader in and makes it hard to put down.” Thanks to everyone who helped to make it come together.
We are planning the usual Seward History Walks and several book selling events this summer and fall.
We will be selling the book at our table at the King’s Fair in early September.
