On September 22, 2021, the SNG board of directors formed a bylaws working group to do a comprehensive review of the organization’s existing bylaws and suggest changes.
The bylaws working group has met several times since October and has developed new proposed bylaws based on current nonprofit best practices, input from board members, and vigorous discussion and debate. The SNG Board of Directors has reviewed the proposed new bylaws and the new bylaws will be up for final adoption at the SNG board meeting on February 23.
Prior to final adoption, SNG is hosting two information sessions via Zoom for the community to learn about, ask questions about, and/or comment on the proposed new bylaws:
12:00noon – 1:00pm, Wednesday, February 9
