We’re looking for passionate neighbors to join the Seward Neighborhood Group Board of Directors. We are looking to fill three open seats.
Board members help keep with the organizational operations of our organization, plan and execute programs and initiatives, and make community connections.
Nominations: Any SNG member may nominate themselves as a candidate for the board.
Early Nominations: Anyone interested in running should complete a nomination form and submit it VIA EMAIL to admin@sng.org no later than 5:00pm Wednesday, April 30. Applications will be reviewed for accuracy and completeness, and to ensure that a nominee is qualified to serve on the board as an elected member. Qualified nominees that have submitted an accurate and complete nomination form by the deadline will have their answers to the nomination form questions posted on the SNG website prior to the election period and their names will appear on the official ballot at the Annual Meeting.
Nominations from the Floor. After the April 30 deadline, any nominations must be made “from the floor” at the Annual Meeting.
Board Elections will be held on Neighborhood Day on May 3rd at Matthews Park in conjunction with our annual meeting.
