SNG has launched an intensive renter engagement effort in partnership with Longfellow Community Council. During 2023, SNG and LCC will be door-knocking all rental properties with 10 or more units in the Greater Longfellow community (the neighborhoods of Seward, Longfellow, Cooper, Howe, and Hiawatha).
Through this engagement, we will:
- Build relationships with area renters, as well rental property owners and managers.
- Learn more about the issues that are important to local renters.
- Recruit Building Ambassadors.
- Inform renters about specific resources for renters, about how to get involved with SNG and LCC, and about SNG’s Technical Assistance Program and the SNG Community Initiatives Fund.
