Michael Jon Olson has worked in community engagement for 25 years.  Over that time, he has served as staff, consultant, or a board member of several community engagement organizations in the Twin Cities including:  Cedar-Isles-Dean Neighborhood Association, Hamline Midway Coalition, Longfellow Community Council, Nicollet Island East Bank Neighborhood Association, Seward Civic and Commerce Association, Seward Neighborhood Group, Springboard for the Arts, The Center for Neighborhoods, The Metropolitan Interfaith Council on Affordable Housing, The Minnesota Center for Neighborhood Organizing, and Ventura Village, Inc.
Michael Jon lives in the Longfellow neighborhood of Minneapolis with his wife and his dog.  Michael Jon enjoys traveling, hiking, gardening, eating out, wine, beer, coffee, bacon, and donuts.

Jasmine joined Seward Neighborhood Group after receiving her undergraduate degree from Augsburg in 2022. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a major in Political Science, with minors in Sociology and Religion. Before becoming a community organizer Jasmine worked as a legislative aid for The Council of Minnesotans of African Heritage. Guided by her years of experience with event planning and volunteer work, Jasmine strives to make a positive impact on Seward Neighborhood and all its community members.

Mahamoud Wardere works for Seward Neighborhood Organization as a Seward Towers Facilitator. He has previously worked for Commonbond Communities as an Advantage Service Specialist. Mahamoud has an extensive experience working with East African Communities and connecting low income families to the appropriate resources. He has a passion for affordable housing and dignified housing for all.
