August 15 Seward History Walk

Learn about the diverse housing styles from Post World War II to today within a three block area in Seward. Why was this area open to new construction after the War continuing through to today? What did new construction materials and builder knowhow contribute to these houses? We will talk to owners, look at aerial photos, and discuss housing issues, and probably the Minneapolis 2040 plan. This walk will help us understand housing of the past and, hopefully, housing of the future.

This week’s walk begins at the intersection of 31st Avenue and E. 25th Street at 7 p.m.
