What’s possible? What can you get done to make our community more welcoming, beautiful, and interesting? The power of partnerships and visions getting put into words, paint and the energy of our youth can be transformative. This is the second project of a little neighborhood group called 36th ART. Together with its partners of Hiawatha Academy, Lake St. Council, Longfellow and Seward neighborhood groups, this is a grassroots effort to revitalize and transform the 36th Avenue corridor. Up next will be Phase II of finishing the bridge, continuing the work of traffic calming, and making the corridor something truly reflective of the values of this community. “I BREAK FOR MURALS”
