Community Partners
We’re proud to collaborate with a network of local organizations that share our commitment to making Seward a better place to live, shop, work, and play. Together, these partnerships allow us to expand our impact, share resources, and deliver programs that strengthen our neighborhood.
Seward Civic & Commerce Association
The Seward Civic and Commerce Association (SCCA) has been supporting local businesses since 1964. As a nonprofit rooted in the Seward neighborhood of Minneapolis, SCCA brings together small businesses, larger organizations, and home-based entrepreneurs who are all part of what makes this community vibrant, resilient, and connected.
Redesign Inc.
Redesign was born out of community resilience in the face of urban renewal and freeway construction that threatened the Seward neighborhood in the 1960s. Today, Redesign builds economic justice in collaboration with the community by developing and sustaining affordable housing and commercial real estate, investing in entrepreneurs, and creating living wage jobs.
Seward Towers Corporation
Seward Towers Corporation preserves affordable housing in the Seward neighborhood through a unique ownership structure connecting residents, building management, and neighborhood organizations. Formed in 1990, this nonprofit is dedicated to the long-term viability of Seward Towers, offering tailored services that support residents and foster their integration into the larger community.
Seward Co-op
Seward Co-op is a community owned, consumer co-op. The overarching goal of the cooperative movement is to create a cooperative economy comprised of businesses that exist to serve the needs of the people who use them. Cooperative businesses provide goods and services in a way that keeps community resources in the community. Everyone is welcome to shop at Seward Co-op.
Pizza Lucé Seward
Pizza Lucé has served the Twin Cities since 1993, growing from a single downtown Minneapolis location into a beloved, independent pizza chain. The Seward location brings that same creative, scratch-made approach to the neighborhood, with a menu that includes vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options for every kind of guest.
