Get Involved

There are plenty of ways to contribute to our Seward Neighborhood. Join a committee, show up to an event, lend a hand on a project, or just get to know your neighbors. However much time you have, there’s a place for you here.

Attend a Committee Meeting

Each of our committees focuses on a specific interest area for the betterment of our community. Committees are run by volunteers who meet regularly to discuss neighborhood needs, plan for positive change, and engage with our neighborhood for stronger connections. Our current interest areas are Community Development, Community Engagement, Environment, and History.

Volunteer for an event

Events run on neighbors pitching in. Set up, greet visitors, staff a table, or help with cleanup. No experience needed, just a few hours and a willingness to help things run smoothly. For general inquires, email admin@sng.org. For greater impact, join a committee and volunteer on a regular basis.
