You are invited to our first Seward Sparkle event at Mathews Park! You can make your own sun catcher to hide around Seward or give to a sparkly person. Funding for this event is provided by SNG’s Community Engagement Committee.

Early 2026 was a difficult time during operation metro surge. I wanted to do something creative to spread some love throughout my community. I started making mini sun catchers and giving them to people at protests helping neighbors. It brought so much joy to share something light and beautiful during such darkness.
I wanted to continue to share the sparkles and community and the idea of Seward Sparkle was born. I am grateful to have received a grant from the Seward Neighborhood Group to share some sparkles around Seward.
